Frequently Asked Questions

  • No minimums. We work with single prototypes for R&D validation all the way to production runs of 1,000+ units. Many clients start with 1-5 parts to prove their design and scale from there. We're built to partner with you through the entire product lifecycle.

  • We routinely hold ±0.0001" on critical features with full process control and inspection. Standard tolerances are ±0.001". We work with GD&T callouts including position, perpendicularity, and concentricity. If your design requires tighter specs, we'll review manufacturability during quoting and provide clear feedback.

  • 2 weeks for standard complexity parts from approved drawing to delivery. For rush projects, we've turned critical components in 24 hours. Timeline depends on material availability and complexity. We'll give you a realistic estimate upfront, not an optimistic guess.

  • Non-Ferrous Alloys: Aluminum (6061, 7075), copper, brass, bronze
    Stainless Steels: 303, 304, 316/316L, 17-4 PH, 15-5 PH
High-Performance Plastics: PEEK, Ultem, Torlon, Vespel, Delrin
    Aerospace-Grade Alloys: Titanium (Grade 5), Inconel 625/718

If you're working with specialty materials, reach out. We'll either machine it in-house or connect you with a specialist.

  • Every project includes:

    • Digital dimensional inspection reports

    • Material certifications (MTRs)

    • Process logs and setup documentation

    • Photo documentation of critical features

For clients with strict traceability requirements, we provide expanded data packages including first article inspection reports and batch-specific records.

  • Yes. Our DFM review is built into every quote. We'll flag:

    • Tolerance stack-up issues that could cause assembly problems

    • Tooling accessibility concerns (undercuts, deep pockets, thin walls)

    • Cost/time optimizations (alternative geometries, finish specs, material swaps)

If something's unmakeable or risky, we'll tell you before you commit—not after we've started cutting.

  • Absolutely. We're built for R&D iteration. We understand the urgency and uncertainty of development cycles—rapid design changes, small batches, and tight iteration loops are exactly what we're set up to handle. We don't just make parts; we help you get your hardware right.

  • 3D Models: STEP, IGES, Parasolid, STL (for reference)
    Drawings: PDF, DWG, DXF

If you're working in SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Onshape, or another CAD platform, native files are welcome but not required. A clean STEP file and a dimensioned drawing with GD&T callouts are ideal.

  • Yes. We coordinate all secondary operations through vetted local partners:

    • Anodizing (Type II & III)

    • Chem Film (MIL-DTL-5541)

    • Bead Blasting

    • Black Oxide

    • Passivation (stainless steels)

You'll receive one consolidated package—finished parts and documentation—without managing multiple vendors.

  • We're currently pursuing CMMC Level 1 with ITAR and ISO 9001 planned for 2026. Our quality processes are built to those standards today—full traceability and documented procedures are standard on every job.

NDAs: Yes, always. We treat every design as confidential by default and are happy to sign your NDA or work under mutual terms.
